Serbian wine is independent, fresh, fruity and deep red. Discover the Serbian wines Tamjanika and Prokupac or a Merlot from the Zupa region. A varied wine tour through three Serbian wine-growing regions. On this wine tour you will get to know the Serbian wine culture intensively.
Wine Tour Serbia – Serbian Wine

Day 1. Welcome to Serbia MA

We welcome you at all Serbian airports. Already on the way to your holiday home you have the opportunity to get to know Serbian wine and sparkling wine in the vehicle. Upon arrival at the holiday home, visit the mineral water springs in the village. For dinner we serve selected Serbian specialities, coordinated with the wine offer wine tour Serbia. Overnight in the holiday home Vila Milanka.

Day 2. Drenca Monastery, Milosavljevic Winery, Viticulture Museum

The old Serbian Orthodox monastery Drenca from the 14th century is the first monastery built in Morava style. It has been extensively restored and is a listed building. South of the monastery, with its 200-year winemaking tradition, lies the Milosavljevic winery. You will taste Mr Milosavljevic’s wines and learn more about the history of this family business. The Wine Museum keeps the history of wine-growing from the Zupa region. Dinner with traditional Serbian specialties. Overnight in the holiday home Vila Milanka.

Day 3. Winery Cokot wine cellar Minic and Lazarev grad

Dr. Radovan Djordjevic grows the autochthonous varieties Prokupac and Tamjanika on 1.5 hectares in his winery Cokot. You will taste the top wines of Radovan Djordjevic and learn the story of his love of wine. On the way to Lazarev Grad we visit the winery of the Minic family. Here you will be served a lunch which, coordinated dau wines of the winery are served. The ruins of the medieval town of Lazarev grad is today the oldest part of Krusevac. Dinner with selected Serbian specialties. Overnight in the holiday home Vila Milanka.

Day 4. Studenica Monastery and the Church of St. Sava

According to tradition, the first Serbian archbishop Sava lived in this parish and used the premises of the church to plan the construction of the monastery Studenica.
In this historic square you will taste the wine of the monastery Studenica, which begins more than 800 years ago with the life of Archbishop Sava right here. Continue driving and visiting the Studenica Monastery. Overnight in the holiday home Vila Milanka.

Day 5. Royal ancestry Oplenac and the monastery Draca 14th century wine tour Serbia

Since the Middle Ages, Oplenac has been known for its wine-growing and is very popular with Serbian princes and kings. In Oplenac you can visit the mausoleum of the Serbian royal family. At the Aleksandrovic winery you can taste the best wines of Serbia. Afterwards continue to the monastery Draca. The monastery is known for its Merlot far beyond the borders of Serbia. Smoked cheese from our own production is served to the Merlot. The fruit fires burned by the monastery and the delicious liqueurs from our own production provide variety. Day 6. Wine cellar Brothers Rajkovic and Ivanovic FA

King Aleksandar awarded the Rajkovic winery for its wines. We visit the vineyards and then taste your wines, as appetizers are served coordinated specialties. Mr Ivanovic awaits us with his fine wines and his history of winemaking in the Zupa wine region. Dinner with traditional Serbian specialties. Overnight in the holiday home Vila Milanka.

Day 7. Winery Budimir & Winery Todor & Winery Grabak

In the winery Todor we taste the wines of the brothers Predrad and Nenad Cosic. The winery was named after your grandfather and the wines are still produced today just as they were then.
In the winery Todor, appetizers are served to the top wines. In the evening you will enjoy the wines of the Grabak winery and will be spoiled with Serbian delicacies. Overnight in the holiday home Vila Milanka.

Day 8. The team of Orthodox Culture Travel would like to thank you for your visit. We wish you a pleasant journey home.
